I was taught...

I was taught that if you see a person drowning, you must jump into the water to save them, whether you can swim or not.

That was taught in the past. In todays modern world, one should not put oneself in danger to save another person esp who is drowning. You know if you are caught doing so, don't expect anything else except disciplinary action against.
The world is changing man!old teachings are considered absurd now. Its ok now to stand on the bank and see people drowning, without any bad feelings:)

Our world is created by our thoughts, therefore, the world is not changing, we change.
