Bernard Shaw

Forgive him, for he believes that the customs of his tribe are the laws of nature!

'They say that we do not know anything
That we are backwardness
That our head needs changing for a better one
They say that some learned men are saying this about us
These academics who reproduce themselves
In our lives'

What is there on the banks of these rivers, Doctor?
.....''Take out your binoculars
And your spectacles
Look if you can.
Five hundred flowers from five hundred different types of potato
Grow on the terraces
Above abysses
That your eyes don't reach
These five hundred flowers
Are my brain
My flesh.''

....One who is in the sea is ignorant of some one who is in the desert.
Everybody is the king of his own city.

One has become Moses and has seen the Beloved on Mount Sinai.
One, like Jesus, has seen the Beloved while crucified..

:) ''When I was four years old they tried to test my IQ, they showed me this picture of three oranges and a pear. They asked me which one is different and does not belong, they taught me different was wrong.''

Different is only different. What makes things right or wrong, as Shaw aptly put it, is our mind!in fact, our imperfect mind...

Well I read this somewhere, contains truth so seems worth sharing :)

''They'' seem to have difficulty in realizing that people who live differently from themselves still might be traveling the upward and progressive road of life.
Only to ''him'' was nature a "wilderness" and only to him was the land "infested" with "wild" animals and "savage" people. To us it was tame. Earth was bountiful and we were surrounded with the blessings of the Great Mystery. Not until they came and with brutal frenzy heaped injustices upon us and the families that we loved was it "wild" for us. When the very animals of the forest began fleeing from his approach, then it was that for us the "Wild West" began.

Here is how children look at it when asked by their Sunday school teacher to write a note to God..

''Dear God: I didnot think that orange went with purple until I saw the sunset you made on Tuesday. That was cool.''
