What is the price of "owning yourself"? Perhaps no price is too high. Maybe Nietzsche's statement could have also been put: "I would rather die on my feet than live on my knees."
Life is a challange, the reason why it is more interesting to be alive than dead...to live in present and to enjoy the world with all its beauties and colors!
"You're alive. Do something. The directive in life, the moral imperative was so uncomplicated. It could be expressed in single words, not complete sentences. It sounded like this: Look. Listen. Choose. Act."
but we should try to 'look, listen, choose and act' with an independent mind, free of any prejudices, but then how many do that? life is the name of the struggle to get our rights to 'look, listen, choose and act', independently, the way we like it, with out any type of visible or hidden pressures...and to accept that everyone has the right to exercise their rights. ...how many of us do that? how many of us are really alive??
